Lake Mohave South along the river and Vegas is Lake Mohave. Not nearly as big as Lake Mead, it is a popular destination for those interested in water recreation. There is camping, swimming, fishing, water-skiing, house boating, you name it. Most of the services are launched from Katherine Landing, near the dam. And at the foot of Davis Dam are the cities of Laughlin and Bullhead City. Laughlin provides all the same trappings as Las Vegas, except it is right on the river and by the lake. |
