Lake Mohave
South along the river and Vegas is Lake Mohave. Not nearly as big as Lake Mead, it is a popular destination for those interested in water recreation. There is camping, swimming, fishing, water-skiing, house boating, you name it. Most of the services are launched from Katherine Landing, near the dam. And at the foot of Davis Dam are the cities of Laughlin and Bullhead City. Laughlin provides all the same trappings as Las Vegas, except it is right on the river and by the lake.

Las Vegas to Lake Mohave

Take US-93/95 south. Take the US-95 exit south as the two roads divide after Railroad Pass. Take US-95 to Nevada Route 159 east (left). N-159 turns into Arizona Route 68. Take A-68 to the Catherine Landing exit north (left). Follow signs to Catherine Landing and Lake Mohave.
